Gythion Small Marina - Lakonia Region
Gythion is located on the northwestern end of Laconia Gulf. This coastal town has a small port facility that serves passenger vessels and a limited number of non-organized berths for fishing and pleasure boats which cannot serve recreational transit boaters and visitors.
Local authorities of the Prefecture of Lakonia decided in 2008 to create a new small marina in the area between the existing port and the Kranai Island. Therefore CNWAY was contracted to design that facility.
Project Facts:
- Construction Cost: 9,910,000€
- Marina capacity: 60 berths for boats up to 15 meters
- Total length of new piers: 200 meters quay walls and 80 meters of floating docks
- Total land area 1,936 square meters
