ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Albert Yamin received his Bachelor of Science in 1973 from the Technical University of Alexandria Egypt, Department of Civil Engineering – Structures and shortly after he enrolled in National Technical University of Athens, Department of Civil Engineering – Transportation, where he received his Diploma in 1974. In addition to Greek, he is fluent in French English and Arabic and also speaks adequate Italian.

Managing Director of CNWAY, Project Manager of several Marine and Transport Planning Projects in Greece.

Managing Partner of “ENGINEERS Ltd” Consultant Engineering Firm. Project Manager for the design and planning of Ports and Transport Projects mainly in Greece.

Senior Engineer in “DENCO Development and Engineering Consultants SA” in the field of Transport Planning and Marine Projects in Greece, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and the United Arab Emirates.

Maria Nikolakakou

Maria Nikolakakou received her Diploma in Survey Engineering from National Technical University of Athens in 1996. She speaks and writes fluently both Greek and English.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Maria joined CNWAY and took over responsibility for the Topographic and Marine Surveys necessary for our projects, using the latest survey equipment.

Freelancer in the field of Topographic and Marine Surveys.

Junior Engineer in “TOPODOMIKI LP” for the National Cadastre and Mapping Agency SA.

1998 – 1999

Junior Engineer in “GEOMET” for the National Cadastre and Mapping of Rethemnos and Chania Regions.

George Yamin

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

George Yamin received his Diploma in Mining and Metallurgy Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in 2002. He was awarded a scholarship to continue his studies in the University of Toronto (UofT) where he successfully received his MSc Degree in Civil Engineering in 2005. He speaks and writes fluently both Greek and English.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

George joined CNWAY in 2006 where he established and developed the Environmental Department of the Company. He also worked in other fields of Port Engineering, including Dynamic Response Analysis of Harbor Structures in Seismic Loading, Port Master Planning and Port Planning.

George is also a member of the International Team, for the Development of Hellinikon, the 620 Ha site of the Old Airport on the coast of Athens, undertaken by LAMDA Group, in the field of Marine Works for DENCO SA.

Constantine Yamin

Constantine Yamin received his Master of Engineering Degree from the University of Manchester (UMIST) in the United Kingdom in 2002. He speaks and writes fluently both Greek and English.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Constantine joined CNWAY in 2003 where he worked in the field of Marine Projects and Computer Model Simulations. He also established the Sediment Transport Simulation Studies for Marine and Environmental Studies using State of the Art Computer Simulation Programs.

Constantine is also a Member of the International Team, for the Development of Hellinikon, the 620 Ha site of the Old Airport on the coast of Athens, undertaken by LAMDA Group, in the field of Marine Works for DENCO SA.

Demetris Koutsouras

Demetris Koutsouras received his Diploma in Civil Engineering in 2005 from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Shortly after he enrolled in NTUA’s Graduate School where he received his MSc Degree in the field of Design and Construction of Underground Projects in 2008.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Demetris is the latest member of our team since he joined CNWAY in 2012 and he is working in the field of Marine and Structural Projects. He has also worked for “STAND Engineering Consultants SA” during 2009 – 2012 in the field of Structural Engineering.

Elias Vassiliades

Elias Vassiliades received his Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University (USA) in 1969 and two Master’s degrees in Urban Design and in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania (USA) in 1972.

Independent Consultant and Project Manager for the upgrading and future expansion of the Astir Pallas Marina in Vouliagmeni, Greece. Member of the International Team and responsible for the Marine Works for the preparation of the successful Offer of the LAMDA Group for the Development of Hellinikon, the 620 Ha Site of the Old Airport on the coast of Athens.

1986 – 2011

Independent associate of DENCO Development and Engineering Consultants SA, remaining also Area Manager of CANDILIS – GREDECO, their U.A.E. Regional Office until 2001. Worked as Project Manager of numerous large scale multidisciplinary projects including Marine Works and Marinas both in Greece and in the Middle East. Senior member of the design team for the Faliron Bay 2004 Olympics and Post Olympic Development Projects.

CANDILIS – GREDECO JV the Dubai Office of the International Firm DENCO SA (Greek Development and Engineering Consultants) as Area Manager and Resident Partner of the Firm in the United Arab Emirates.
