The site of the old International Airport of Athens is owned by Hellinikon SA and is located in the seafront of Attica, just 8 km from the center of Athens. It covers an area of approximately 6.2 million sq.m., with access to 3.5 km of high aesthetic value and quality waterfront.

The largest Urban Development in Europe is currently planned in that area with a total budget of around 8 billion Euros. The developer is a multinational investor consortium led by LAMDA Development SA of Greece who won the International Competition held by the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) in 2014.
